A language-rich classroom environment is an environment in which children are exposed deliberately and recurrently to high-quality verbal input among peers and adults. This training will provide an overview of the components of early language and how language can be modeled and facilitated in an early care and education setting and at home. The presenter will highlight the importance of adult responsiveness in fostering positive communication interactions.
