The workshop is developed for anyone caring for a child. Come explore and learn from Margaret Ross, LCSW, and school-based mental health therapist as she shares her passion for connecting with children. She will discuss the connection between the physical body, mind, and emotions. Attendees will gain an understanding of the importance of normalizing strong emotions for children and helping them improve their feelings of self-efficacy in utilizing regulation strategies. The course will also demonstrate ways to make mindfulness, relaxation, and healthy movement techniques fun and accessible for children.
